vampires. He meets and befriends a
half-human/demon named Doyle, who is sent by the
powers that be, to protect Angel and guide him.
With his power of visions, Doyle and Angel are
sent to protect a girl named Tina who is in
desperate need of help. They find Tina being
harassed by a powerful man named Russell. After
killing Tina, Angel realizes Russell is a
vampire. Meanwhile at a party, Angel runs into
Sunnydale survivor Cordelia. She resides in L.A.
in hopes of gaining an acting career. Russell
returns and kidnaps Cordelia, but Angel comes to
her rescue. Later, Cordelia decides that they
should open up a business with Angel and Doyle as
her protectors.
"Lonely
Hearts"
Angel is hunting a parasitic demon
that is working at a singles bar to find new
bodies to move to. While investigating, Angel

Doyle has a crush on Cordelia.
In the Dark (2)
On a mission for his friend Buffy
Summers, Oz visits L.A. to give Angel a ring that
renders vampires invincible to stakes and
sunlight. Spike follows Oz to retrieve the ring,
too. He captures Angel and has another vampire
torture him, but Doyle, Cordelia and Oz find
where Angel hid the ring and try to establish a
trade for Angel. Spike gets hold of the ring.
Angel is forced to risk sunlight to get it back.
After the confrontation between Angel and Spike,
Angel retrieves the ring and enjoys only one day
in the sun. He decides to destroy the ring
instead.
NOTE: Seth Green and James

with Buffy....
I

terrorized by a neurosurgeon that is able to
detach body parts with which to stalk her.
"Rm
w/a Vu"
Cordelia finally gives up on her
cockroach-infested apartment and moves in with
Angel. A violent demon bill collector is pursuing
Doyle. Angel agrees to help him only if he gets
Cordelia out of his apartment. After finding a
great apartment for her, Cordelia finds out that
a woman who has killed her son haunts her new
place.
"Sense
and Sensitivity"
Cordelia is upset that Angel isn't
sensitive enough or considers her feelings. Kate
enlists Angel to help her capture a mobster named
Little Tony. After calling his lawyers at the law
firm of Wolfram & Hart, Little Tony plants a

supernaturally starts converting all of the cops
into debilitated overly sensitive psychoanalysts.
"Bachelor
Party"
Cordelia suddenly realizes what a
great guy Doyle is, but is saddened to learn that
his estranged wife is visiting with her fiancé
and wants a divorce from Doyle. Attending the
bachelor party, Angel and Doyle find out that the
groom's brothers are up to no good. They dispose
of Angel and trap Doyle in order to cut open his
head and eat his brains. Angel arrives just in
time to save him. Cordelia and Doyle's ex realize
what's going on; leading to free-for-all knockout
brawl.
"I
Will Remember You (2)"
Buffy Summers shows up to tell
Angel off for wandering around in Sunnydale. They
are attacked by a demon that gets away. They
split up to hunt it, and Angel ends up killing
it. Some of the demon's blood mixes with Angel's
and he becomes completely human. He visits the
oracles of "The Powers That Be," and
they confirm that he's really human. He reunites
with Buffy, and they have a "perfect
day". Doyle has a vision of the demon, who's
pissed off at Angel, and he wants a fight. Angel
goes to fight it, but he's now a human and
vulnerable to any attack. Buffy arrives and saves
him. Realizing that being human will do him no
good, Angel begs the oracles to make everything
right. The Oracles jump back clock 24 hours,
leaving Angel with the "special day" he
spent with Buffy.
"Hero"
Doyle's latest vision leads him to
a family of hapless half-demons being haunted by
The Scourge, a group of pure blood demons who
persecute those of mixed blood. Angel infiltrates
The Scourge, while he tries to get the
half-breeds onto a ship to get them out of the
country. Doyle's half-demon status is revealed to
Cordelia, who is surprised that he was scared to
tell her. She agrees to go out with him, but he
ends up sacrificing his life to save the
half-demon family. He leaves her with a magical
kiss.
NOTE:
This is the final episode for Glenn Quinn.

realizes that she has been left with his gift of
visions. So she tries to get rid of it by kissing
everyone she sees. A demon named Barney comes to
Angel looking for help because he's being haunted
by an assassin. When Angel investigates, it turns
out that the assassin is Wesley, an old friend.
But the demon isn't after Barney, it's haunting
for a Kungai demon that is collecting other

vampire that Angel made many years ago who uses a
similar signature. Kate's speculation leads her
to Angel and she tells him that she'll stake him
the next time she sees him, but spares him and
ends up killing the real bad guy.

interest is of a personal nature. In a flashback
to 1952, Angel is not the atoning vampire of
present day, but a recluse who is detached from
the tortured humans around him, until one fateful
day.
"First
Impressions"
Gunn requests Angel's help in
finding a killer demon named Deevak, but Cordelia
has a vision of Gunn being in grave danger. She
elects herself as his new protector. When she
discovers that he might be his own worst enemy,
she has to face the fact that she can't save him
without the help of Angel and Wesley. Meanwhile,
Darla frequently appears in Angel's dreams.
Quotes:
Gunn: Could one of you go in there and knock on
his coffin?
Cordelia: He doesn't use a coffin. And maybe you
never heard the expression "Let sleeping
vampires lie." He'll rise on his own, always
does. Maybe we can help.
Gunn: You two? I find Deevak I'm gonna need more
than C3PO and Stick-figure Barbie backing me up,
no offense.
Wesley: Very little taken.
"Untouched"
Angel unknowingly crosses paths
with Wolfram & Hart when he comes to the aid
of a young woman named Bethany who possesses
telekinetic powers far beyond her control.
Meanwhile, Angel is somewhat off his game due to
the fact that he has been sleeping weird, but has
no idea his fitful nights are the result of
nocturnal visits by Darla.
Dear
Boy
Angel's dreams continues. He
dreams he is back in 1860 in London and meets up
with his first encounter with Drusilla. Angel
thinks he sees Darla, but Cordellia and Wesely
don't really believe him cause Darla is, or
looks, human, and is able to step out into the
sunlight. Angel confronts Darla and she denies
and fakes that she is terrified of Angel. She
then runs to her fake husband pretending she is
someone else. Later Angel is framed for killing
her "husband" and Kate is after Angel.
Cordellia, Wesley and Gunn defend Angel to Kate,
but behind thier defense thinks that Angel may
have reverted back to his evil ways. Angel finds
out the truth about Darla and Wolfram & Hart.
The truth being, Darla is now human.
