JESSICA
ALBA
"MAX"
Born
on April 28, 1981 in Pomona, California, USA, Jessica
and her family moved to Biloxi, Mississippi when
she was an infant. Because her father was in the
Air Force, they had to move quite alot. After
living in Biloxi for three years, they had moved
back to California but then relocated to Del Rio,
Texas. When Jessica was nine years old, they
moved to the southern part of California.
It
was when she was five that she became interested
in acting. She began acting professionally at the
age of 12. She studied with locas LA acting
coaches. She then landed commerical work, then
various film and television roles. Jessica
attended New York's acclaimed Atlantic Theater
Company when she was 16. Here she studied with
William H. Macy and David Mamet, the founders of
the ATC.
It
was in 1993 that she made her first debut in
"Camp Nowhere". She was only sopossed
to work for 2 weeks on this film, but when an
actress with a principal role dropped out, she
was asked to take the role. Jessica just recently
completed the feature film "The Sleeping
Dictionary" in Malaysia with Brenda Blethyn
and Bob Hoskins.
In
her spare time, Alba enjoys activities she
learned for several of her acting roles such as
scuba-diving, horseback-riding, bicycling and
motorcycling.

college to pursue an acting career. While acting,
he also played in a band. He then started to act
professionally where he landed a role in
"The Cosby Show" playing Theo's college
roomate. After landing other guest spots, he
relocated in LA.

after moving to LA, he landed a role in a TV
series in "Significant Others" from FOX
televsion.

Born
John Youngs on August 25, 1949 in Old Bethpage,
Long Island, New York, USA, he made his acting
debut on stage at the age of 14 in an
Off-Broadway production of "The
Drunkard". He then went on to "Fiddler
on the Roof".
John
had earned a full scholarship to New York's
American Academy of Dramatic Arts and relocated
to California to work on "Steelyard
Blues" which was his feature film debut.
He
continued to work in Hollywood till 1988, when he
left and moved to South Africa. Here, he became
involved with the anti-apartheid movement. He
worked with Nelson Mandela and shot footage for a
television news station. He then moved back to
the states in 1994.
John
is listed as one of twelve "Promising New
Actors of 1979" in John Willis' Screen World
Vol. 3. He is the father of actress Jennifer
Youngs (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) and older
brother to Jim Youngs (Footloose).

VALARIE
RAE MILLER
"ORIGINAL CINDY"
Valarie
Rae Miller has made the leap from the
squeaky-clean host of "One Saturday
Morning" to what she calls "the spice
of the show" on DARK ANGEL, playing Original
Cindy, Max's best friend and co-worker. DARK
ANGEL marks the return of Miller to the FOX
network; previously she was the host of the FOX
pregame sports show, "In the Zone" for
four seasons.
Prior
to landing the role of Original Cindy, Miller
hosted a variety of television programs, and she
can currently be seen hosting the weekend morning
show "One Saturday Morning." Miller
began her hosting career after moving to Los
Angeles following her college graduation, when
she landed a job on PETV for the educational
network Channel One.
Miller
grew up in Fort Worth, TX and got her first big
break when she appeared in a commercial for Radio
Shack while still in high school. During a summer
break, Miller visited Los Angeles, where she
tried her hand at stand-up comedy. She received
such a positive response, she moved there.
Despite the numerous offers she received to go on
tour with her stand-up comedy routine, Miller
decided to pursue a career in hosting and acting
in Los Angeles, where she currently resides.

JENNIFER
BLANC
"KENDRA"
Born
and raised in New York City, Jennifer Blanc began
her career on the New York stage as Laurie in
Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs"
starring Jonathan Silverman both on Broadway and
in the national tour. At the age of 19 she
decided to move to Los Angeles and immediately
began working in both film and television.
Within
a year of moving to Los Angeles, Blanc won the
role of Tiffany on the series "The
Mommies." Best known for the role of Kate on
the FOX series "Party of Five," Blanc
appeared in the first two seasons of the show as
Bailey's (Scott Wolf) girlfriend. Her other
television credits include roles in "Grace
Under Fire," "Providence,"
"Dead at 21," "The Cool and the
Crazy," "Pink Lightning,"
"The Client" and the television movie
"Friends Till the End" opposite Shannen
Doherty. Most recently, Blanc starred in two
television movies, "The Expendables"
opposite Robin Givens and FOX's upcoming
"Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye" starring and
directed by Jason Priestly.

Southern California, Richard attended and
graduated with honors from the University of
California, Santa Cruz. He later performed for
Four Seasons with Shakespeare Santa Cruz. Later,
he relocated to LA to pursue his acting career.
Richard
appeared in leading and supporting roles in a
number of independent films and plays. Just
recently, he earned the leading role in
"Lost Voyage" with Judd Nelson.
On
his spare time, he enjoys playing classical
guitar, reading and motorcycles and driving his
'77 Trans-Am.

BALLARD
"HERBAL THOUGHT"
Alimi
("Ali-me") Ballard's credits are
extensive and tell the tale of a seasoned
performer, and his presence has been felt on
television, stage and screen. His film credits
include the upcoming 20th Century Fox film
"Navy Diver" starring Cuba Gooding Jr.
and Robert DeNiro, "Deep Impact,"
"Malcolm X," and "Three Days of
Rain."
His
television credits include roles on "Sabrina
the Teenage Witch," "Arsenio,"
"New York Undercover" and "Malcolm
and Eddie." He also has been recognized for
his portrayal of the troubled Frankie Hubbard, on
the daytime drama "Loving." Ballard's
first television role was as co-host of "In
the Mix," the public television teen
awareness show done in news magazine style with
MTV flavor.
Because
of his godfather's urging, Ballard joined
MindBuilders, a local New York community center
dedicated to the empowerment of youth, and was
cast in a play called "No Laughing
Matter." Weeks later, he found himself
touring New York's inner-city libraries,
community centers and elementary and high
schools. He soon set his sights on a professional
career and came to perform with such notable
theater companies as the Manhattan Theater Club
and the National Black Theater, were he starred
in acclaimed productions of "Holiday
Heart" and "Endangered Species."

MacKENZIE
"NORMAL"
The
6'1" actor was born on October 17th, in
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, at 21 he attended
Concordia University in Montreal where he saw his
first play, Bernard Slade's "A Tribute"
starring Jack Lemmon, on Broadway. It was then he
decided what he wanted to do, act. Two years
later he was accepted by and attended the London
Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in England. He
originally wanted to teach Drama, but decided to
act.

played in the role of Careny in the American
National tour, "Biloxi Blues" after
working in Canadian Theater. After the tour
ended, he relocated in New York City, where he
joined the Circle Rep Company. "Have
Faith" came and he took the starring role.
MacKenzie
then took the role of Arnold Spivak in 1995's,
"Murder One" for two seasons in LA.
On
his spare time, J.C. enjoys reading, politics,
hockey and skiing. He is also a New York Mets
fan. He is currently residing in NYC.
